Terms &conditions.

This website

The content on this site describes our services and the rules around land work in general terms. It is not an estimate, legal advice or a tax opinion. Nothing on this website is a promise about the outcome, pricing, scheduling or completion of a particular project. Costs and details are confirmed for your own job.

Guides and outside sources

Our guides summarize rules and figures published by agencies and other third parties, with links to the source. Rules, burn bans and published figures change. Check the current version with the agency before you rely on it.

Estimates

Estimates are free. They are based on what can be seen at the property. If conditions turn out to be different once work starts, such as rock, buried debris, unmarked lines or ground that is wetter than it looked, the work and the cost are talked through with you before anything continues.

Scheduling and weather

Dirt work depends on weather and ground conditions. Dates are given in good faith and can move when the ground is saturated, when a burn ban is in place, or when it is not safe to work.

Underground lines

Public utility lines are marked through Texas 811 before digging. Private lines, such as power to outbuildings, water lines to barns and septic lines, are the property owner's to point out. 811 does not mark private lines.

Permits, rules and property lines

Permit rules vary by city, county and state, and some land sits over the Edwards Aquifer recharge or contributing zones. Unless agreed otherwise in the estimate, permits, approvals and knowing where the property lines are remain the property owner's responsibility.

Payment

Payment terms are set out on the estimate for each job.

Text messages

If you tick the text message box on a form, you agree to receive texts from Highlander Construction LLC about your estimate, scheduling and project updates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of any purchase.
